After transferring to UC, review your graduation requirements and course progress before planning your next classes. System names and access points vary by campus, so follow your own university's instructions.
Find the Requirements That Apply to You
Look in your student system for a Degree Audit, Degree Progress, or similar report. Confirm that it reflects your major, degree program, and applicable catalog year, then check when it was generated so you do not plan from an outdated report. Ask the appropriate university office about any requirements you do not understand.
Check That Your Community College Courses Appear
After sending transcripts, return to the report and check that your community college courses have been recorded without omissions. Compare the course record with the requirement details to see what each course satisfies; appearing in the record does not by itself mean a course fulfills a particular requirement. If a course is missing or the evaluation differs from your understanding, organize your questions and ask the university to clarify.
Plan Courses Around Remaining Requirements
Use the report's legend to distinguish completed, in-progress, planned, and unfulfilled requirements. Expand unmet requirements, review the course and unit details, and list what you still need to take instead of relying on the total-unit progress bar. When planning a term, check course availability, prerequisites, and workload together. Discuss uncertainties with your university's academic advisor before adjusting your plan.
Revisit the report and your course plan after any new credit evaluation. Base enrollment decisions on the university's published requirements and the determinations of the responsible offices.
